Evenings with Mark Fine

''Evenings with Mark Fine'' is a radio show on Melbourne station SEN 1116. It is hosted by Mark Fine and runs from 7 pm to 12 am on Mondays to Thursdays. The show comprises many different programs, including 'The Victory Hour', 'Chasing Birdies','The First Serve', 'Kevin's Korner', and other regular guests that appear on the show. The show originally only ran until 11 pm, but since The Four Diegos retired during 2010, the show has been extended until midnight.
During the show's ratings hiatus, colourful Melbourne personality Philip Brady would be joined by Geelong and light enthusiast Billy Brownless.
Fine is often incorrectly referred to as "Viney" by callers, much to the bemusement of many listeners.
Fine also frequently engages in fervent debates with callers who display idiotic tendencies.
Fine is very warmly regarded by many listeners.
Fine is an extremely passionate, long suffering St.Kilda Football Club supporter and enjoys better music variety.
== Issues with the quiz ==

The show was recently dealt a huge blow when the 'Sports Bag Quiz' was taken off the air, thanks to a handful of callers that made derogatory comments towards rival broadcaster Dougal Austin (3AW). Before its removal, the quiz saw members of the public showcase their sporting knowledge and, at times, their knowledge was such that an induction to the quiz's hall of fame was in order. Two of the most famous inductees were Stanley from Indonesia and Don from Camberwell. Listeners were outraged by the cancellation, so management had no choice but to introduce a new form of the quiz, namely 'You Blokes Want A Coke'. As Mark Fine said himself, the "All Sport Super Quiz" was 'absolutely malakaed' and it was time for a fresh new start.
It has recently returned to the program as the show now runs for and extra hour. The show has recently introduced an extra addition, the 'gong' question, where if the caller is answering a question and the 'gong' sounds you will win an extra prize. Scott from Mooroolbark was the first contestant in the game's history to win both the gong prize and main prize. He is now regarded as one of the quiz's great players, despite his public loss on the Nine Network's Millionaire Hot Seat, along with Chris from Broadmeadows.
